Since 1910, the Windsor Goodfellows have been dedicated to helping those in need no matter the time of year.
Our weekly Food Bank operation is one of the largest expenses of the Windsor Goodfellows organization and is funded through a combination of fundraising such as our annual Holiday Newspaper Drive, Appeals Mailout campaign, Golf Tournament and the generosity of the community via donations.
Hunger is a year-round issue that affects many families in our community.
That is why the Windsor Goodfellows maintain a weekly food bank providing thousands of families with non-perishable staples, fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy products. Through our Food Bank program, we strive to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.

Thanks to the donations we receive throughout the year, we are able keep all of our programs running; including the food bank which services those in need throughout Windsor, the Town of Tecumseh and the Town of Lasalle.
Qualification Requirements:
We provide assistance to families who meet the government guidelines for low income. To register as a client, you must provide proof of income for all members in your household (eg. Ontario Works, ODSP, pay stub, Child Tax Credit).
If you do not have paper copies of proof of income, you can bring in a bank statement or show it on your phone. However, make sure to bring something with your address on it. We also need to see photo I.D. (e.g. Driver’s license or Health Card).
